pretty much, if you actually could just block thoughts then intrusive thoughts and ocd wouldn’t be a thing
Good thing I dont have ocd. You're literally your brain wdym you can't control yourself? You're the source and the receiver. You can perceive anything, any way you want

you can control your actions obviously and even try and reframe your thoughts but stopping then entirely not really. and honestly even if you could I don’t think it would be good
 
um don't suppress your thoughts. acknowledge they exist and then make a decision after that. you can suppress them if you would like, but most important is the acknowledgement.
