The only issue with transhumanism that I see is that it would make the gap between the rich and the peasants way too big. Unnecessary procedures would be unattainable by the average person which will leave them no chance.
On the other hand I am selfish so if I had the possibility to surpass the average human I would accept in a heartbeat.
