Want to go on a surplus soon, was thinking of either going full keto or at least using fats as primary energy source. There seemed to be a few studies that show the positive correlation between carb intake and IGF-1 levels.

I think it’s personally dumb because in terms of the philosophy of ray peat a ketogenic diet is negative towards thyroid function and other endocrine processes. Also it’s common logic that the release of insulin releases IGF-1 from the liver especially.

No just eat a balanced diet high in protein and low in processed food
