Ok so basically, Im pretty sure he's doing it due to the fact that he's chosen to become sober now (which is good!) and his old hair was fried due to drug use so this is kinda for a fresh start. So in terms of symbolism, I think its great, but in terms of attractiveness i like his longer hair better
