WHAT IS A THYROID?

The thyroid is a gland located at the front of the neck just underneath the Adams apple. It is part of the endocrine system and produces hormones that regulate various bodily functions. These hormones, including thyroxine and triiodothyronine, are essential for metabolism, growth and development

.avoid processed foods

NOTES

Thyroid issues are difficult to treat. FOCUS ON PREVENTION NOT MEDICATION. It's important to listen to your doctor and although thyroid problems are mainly genetic you should still do everything in your power to avoid them as I've seen the effects of thyroid issues myself, not to mention that this disorder is considered incredibly difficult to treat.
