Along with functions previously mentioned, the thyroid also influences brain function, bone health, heart rate, emotional and mental well-being and energy levels.
Having problems with your thyroid can be DEVASTATING, not just for your mental and physical health, but also for your overall apearance.

HYPERTHYROIDISM

.don't cut/diet for prolonged periods of time especially during development
.avoid processed foods
.limit exposure to toxins such as metal, pollutants and chemicals
.excersing
.8 hours of sleep

Thyroid issues are difficult to treat. FOCUS ON PREVENTION NOT MEDICATION. It's important to listen to your doctor and although thyroid problems are mainly genetic you should still do everything in your power to avoid them as I've seen the effects of thyroid issues myself, not to mention that this disorder is considered incredibly difficult to treat.
