[This post has been made with permission of the moderators] Hey I'm Liam and I'm a researcher from the University of Melbourne Australia. We are running a project to understand how TikTok affects young guys lives.

We're looking for young guys (aged 16-25) who regularly use TikTok and are from Australia, the UK, or the US. This will involve completing a short (15 min) survey requesting your data from TikTok and then uploading it to our secure research platform. Three months later we'll ask you to complete the same stuff again. As thanks for your time and effort you'll receive a total of AUD$100 (approximately US$65 or £50). That's AUD$40 for doing the first survey and TikTok upload, and AUD$60 for doing the second three months later. All your data will be kept completely anonymous and you will be free to withdraw at any time.
