Even if he comes from around 2000 years into the future, he most likely will have nothing to show us, if I went to 700 BCE Bihar, I'd still have nothing to show. Assuming I'm not allowed to take all the technology, I will have to go there and create it, which i can't. So I'll just be disregarded as another pleb, likewise a time traveler from 4500, he might have had all the technologies in his time like AGI and brain replacement, but he can't do any of that, I doubt he'll even be able to make some nintendo ds, no one today can even recreate the antikythera machien one their own.

easy, go back in time, carve your name into something, like a plank of wood or rock, bury it somewhere remote and where you know will be untouched by humans in the future, return to it and let scientists carbon date the object

yes, but that doesn't mean he will have the capabilities to teach or give that information

You don’t need to, you just have to start something that others can continue, smart people existed then too

The guy who discovered penicillin wasn’t the one to isolate it, same with many other things

And it doesn’t have to be something that requires skill, the way the world is today is so vastly different to thousands of years ago

fair but when you look at the nuances it will never be that simple

like what OP said, if he had to go back in time and create technology he wouldn't have the resources to do it cause he'd just be some pleb nobody
