Listen up all heightmaxxers:
I read a study where the result was that GH treatment made kids SHORTER instead of taller when taken after the age of 12.9. The reson for this being that the hGH speeds up the bone maturation which decreases the final adult height when taken too late.
From the study: "During the adolescent years, the predicted gained height over 3 years of therapy declined, in correlation with age, and became negative at a therapy-initiation age of 12.9 years." IN other words:
"When hGH treatment began at around 12.9 years of age, the expected height increase turned into a decrease."
