was reading https://pmc.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/articles/PMC7992473/ and read that "Topical treatment options include bleaching agents such as hydroquinone and tretinoin and depigmenting agents such as albutin, an extract of the bearberry plant." although "topical treatments can be used to treat dermatitis-related PIH or PPP with varying degrees of success." Is there any more knowledge on tretinoin even though "there is no clear consensus about the pathomechanism and standard treatment of dark circles."
if this depigments my skin, then it obviously wont un-fuck my bone structure, but wouldn't it lower the contrast, making the eye area look "less recessed"? similar to that of what concealer would do. I've heard about tretinoin a lot so i would like to learn more about it anyways even if it wont help my under eye area.
