You’re coping. You also wouldn’t go up to someone born attractive and tell them their looks aren’t a flex. Being born with any kind of advantage to life is a flex
Specially with wealth it’s mostly just inherited and it’s unusual for someone from nothing to become extremely wealthy without generations of advantage behind them

Your looks are intrinsic to you, your money isn't, especially your dadas money, it's a superficial quality. You would appear as snobby (water), for example Jack Doherty does what you are describing

Literally no one wants these types of people in their life, they signal low IQ and shallowness (water again) if they unironically place their worth on their wealth (especially dadas money) and not who they are as a person. Ironically if they were born poorer this behaviour would just never emerge, leading to a more real and grounded person who is more enjoyable to be around.

It also directly points to their lack of depth to the viewers, since they are using wealth to bolster themselves like they have nothing else.

Oh my god newday being broke doesn’t magically make someone grounded any more than being rich makes them shallow. If someones entire personality is money, sure i guess but that’s not a wealth problem it's a personality problem
I didn’t even see rose flexing her dads money in the first place. Other users were the ones who brought it up and I just found it funny how people tried to frame “it’s just daddy’s money” like it’s some kind of insult so I pointed out that it doesn’t really work as a dig

Because i've knew people who burned everything, a whole existence of savings into an addiction and bad choices.
