not at all, russian sounds civilized unlike ukrainian, cuz it was made by aristocrats from 19th century who who took the dictionary, grammar, vocabulary, etc. from the most progressive languages of the time (french, german, italian/latin)

ukrainian sounds funny as fuck and villager
You call it a "villager language" because that's exactly what Tsarist policy aimed to make it. Look up the 1863 Valuev Circular and the 1876 Ems Ukaz they were laws that banned Ukrainian from being published, taught, or performed in cities to prevent a national identity. Calling it that is just repeating imperial propaganda.

even if it was caused by tsar policy, it's still a villager language, want you or not

@limo8 i'm not against ukraine or ukrainians but their language should not exist
That proves my point. The Valuev Circular and Ems Ukaz were created by people who also believed "their language should not exist." You are now advocating for the same policy of cultural erasure in the 21st century.

Wishing for a language not to exist is wishing for the destruction of a people's identity, history, and memory. That isn't linguistics it's the ideology of cultural genocide.

We have nothing left to discuss.
