A lot of people talk and relate to experiencing overstimulation but I feel kind of the opposite way. My brain lacks the energy to do anything and it’s so dulllllll are there any tips to deal with this or do I just force myself to hyperfixate on something new

yes. I used to be so bright and productive but now I feel like I’m half of what I used to be. potential wise I’m just not the same, and I want things to go back to “normal”. It’s impacting my daily life

Depending on how long ago this was it could be hormonal. If it is.. Do stuff that will help balance your hormones like going to the gym and that might help

Did you get a complete blood panel test (hormonal and micro deficiencies) ? Also do you smoke, drink, take drugs/medications ?
 
Depending on how long ago this was it could be hormonal. If it is.. Do stuff that will help balance your hormones like going to the gym and that might help
this is true. I think it might be related to just depression, I’ve had that since around 12 years old but I was previously disciplined because of self hatred. You’re definitely right about the gym helping when I went regularly it was easier to cope. I’ll see about hormones. Thank you for your advice

hyperfixating on smth new is veryy helpful ngl, hyperfixated on cannibalism for a bit n omds it was so interesting

Actually that’s a wonderful suggestion I think I might be able to get some lab work done I suspect something has been unstable for a while.

No drinking, never even smoked before, and no medications whatsoever. Raw dogging life tbh

hm atm its probably schizophrenia , did it in psych a while ago n its got an absolute chokehold on me
i used to have a few others like incels, Junji Ito, angels in the bible, stalkers and herbal teas (dont ask why idk)
 
this is true. I think it might be related to just depression, I’ve had that since around 12 years old but I was previously disciplined because of self hatred. it’s kind of sad how much we can’t control our circumstances but it’s a gift to be who you are. You always do not get what you want to do, or set out to do. Things do not fall in place. Not everything happens for good. But we adjust. Move on and never give yourself an excuse to back down. It takes strength to realize how much you dealt with and survived anyway

it’s kind of sad how much we can’t control our circumstances but it’s a gift to be who you are. You always do not get what you want to do, or set out to do. Things do not fall in place. Not everything happens for good. But we adjust. Move on and never give yourself an excuse to back down. It takes strength to realize how much you dealt with and survived anyway

i feel pity for ur avg incel but the extreme ones can go to hell, they attempt to justify r**e n all sorts which is unfrogivable imo
stalkers are terrifying (i had one for over a year, hence the hyperfixation cos i wanted to understand), often it stems from the need to control someone and to have power over them via stalking n intimidating them, or its a sex thing like they get off on it
