Veeners or dental bonding?

I have undersized lateral incisors and i have been thinking about getting veeners or dental bonding.

Has anyone done either of these?
Ive heard theres many risks with veeners and they arent 100% safe but are more long lasting.

Yeah ive heard of that as a alternative but Im skeptical abt getting them since getting your teeth shaved down is permanent
