I have never been to the UK, but I plan on visiting. Yeah, I don't like the Bri ish accent. I remember reading that Americans actually retained the original English accent and that it's the British that changed theirs.

Also, I met an American woman recently and she complimented my English, saying it's really good and that she's surprised. That I pretty much sound like a native guy! Ha. An Irish woman I met said the same thing, that my English is good. She had that Irish accent which was sometimes difficult to understand. Yes, the problem is there's lots of Pakistanis there and I wanna go to their restaurants and stuff for the food instead of having to travel all the way to South Asia.
