I have wavy hair and i have no idea what to do with it

I usually force it straight with oils and specific way of drying it but then it becomes puffy

With wavy hair i have no idea how to take care of it and when i try it takes a long time with a lot of products and it comes out some places extremely curly, some wavy some straight

What do i do?
Does anybody have any easy tips to take care of wavy hair
Or how to force it to be straight better

i THINK keratin treatments can get ur hair pretty straight tho some may be damaging but im sure its fine if u js take care of ur hair or go to a salon

my hair is also wavy and i wash it every 3 days double shampoo and conditioner
after that i use the miss jessies curl cream, not your mothers curl mousse, and scrunch it out with olaplex oil
would use a diffuser if i had one but i js let it air dry😥

some people also wear bonnets or scarfs when they sleep but if u have silk pillowcases u should be fine

All the tutorials online are for curly hair only🫩🫩
u can use them the same and the only difference is js that it’ll translate differently onto ur hair, ex if u fingercoil tight curls they be very curly, but even some straight hair can look wavy with fingercoiling
idk if that makes sense

I’m going to get a diffuser so I can lock in for it because I’ve tried to do routines before and not good results so I’m scared it’s not gonna work and my hair is gonna be ugly forever🥺might perm my hair straight atp

It’s pretty much similar to curly hair routine wise, just less products. Like I would just use a leave in instead of thick creams, and then something for very light hold, like a light mousse

the routine is basically the same as for curly hair but u should use lighter products, especially if ur hair is not too thick. after washing ur hair brush it to get rid of any tangles (i use a detangling brush). if you’re gonna diffuse it after spray on some heat protectant first. once it’s all brushed out split ur hair into sections and spray it with water. it needs to be really wet, like dripping. then use a mousse or a cream for wavy hair and if you want it to last longer add some gel but don’t do it every time. scrunch from the ends upwards and make sure u are getting all the way to the roots. after that, scrunch with a soft towel or a tshirt just to remove the excess water , then scrunch again with ur hands. do the same all over ur head. if u want more volume at the roots do everything upside down. then either diffuse upside down or let it air dry but if u are air drying sometimes keep scrunching it while it dries
