i have similar hair and i like to style it with cantu but it is pretty drying so make sure you use hydrating products like oils and deep conditioners.

try umberto gianni’s hair products, my natural hair is 3A and the gel and curl cream work wonders on my hair. imo volume>definition but i think finger curling your hair in the back would make it look better. try scrunching a mousse (honestly from any curly hair care brand) into your roots upside down when wet too. use clarifying shampoos like twice a month as well, product buildup on your scalp will make it look flat

Are you currently using any curly hair products?
Im aksing since if you dont take care of your hair like its curly/wavy maybe you could bring out more curl and shine

yes, when i keep my hair natural i like to use the umberto gianni curling jelly and the curl control cream. for mousse i use the schwarzkopf curl ex mousse. try the bounce curl brush too
