A 2018 (SVT) investigation of 843 r**e convictions from 2013–2018 found:
58% of convicted perpetrators had a foreign background.
40% were born in the Middle East or Africa,
Afghanistan was especially common as a country of origin after Sweden itself.
Another study (2000–2015) covering 3,039 convicted offenders (aged 15–60) reported:
47.7% foreign-born.
16.4% from Middle East/North Africa a group representing only
4.9% of the population meaning overrepresentation of about
3.3×
Germany- From 2017–2021, data shows
Afghans and Pakistanis were 16 times more likely to be implicated in r**e than German citizens.
As of 2022–2023, the proportion of
non-German suspects in gang r**e cases stabilized at around
48–50%, even though foreign residents make up roughly
14.6% of the population. Particularly notable are suspects from Syria, Afghanistan, Iraq, Morocco, and other predominantly Muslim countries.
Uk- India: -7 r**e convictions; Pakistan: -10. Foreign nationals -23% of sexual offense convictions;
Afghans & Eritreans over 20× risk relative to population.
