I currently have braces and wear bands 24/7 to pull my lower jaw forward, I also try to keep proper tongue posture throughout the day. Is there anything else that could help, like facial exercises or orthodontic devices? Are facial exercises and stuff like thumbpulling cope?

fixing your over bite is probably in your current treatment , ask your dentist if it is if not ask him to add it
