what are your thoughts on true love

Muhhh teen love pill (high iq thread)​


CONTEXT:
I've seen so many mfs talk about how they're "unlovable" recently and it's pissing me off repeating myself so I thought if just make this thread now

MAIN THREAD:
Despite the increase in freedom we have in today's age, love is becoming more and and ŕare. Why? Because many people are encouraged to have fun and experiment. Many people just settle down for the sake of it, because it's what you're "supposed to do."

Now none of this is to say you can't find love or it's not real. In fact being aware of this truth increases your chance of actually finding love. You know what to look out for and how to play your cards now. Don't believe me that loves real? Think about how many people have died for love, gone through hell, put everything at risk. I also don't believe there's neccasarily a STRONG looks cap on love either but obviously being better looking helps.

it's also important to note the difference between like and love. Like is like a crush, like is what you feel for most of your relationships. A feeling of affection and desire but without any real grandiose care, importance and sacrifice. Love is alot harder to define, I can't say I've ever felt it. However, I like to compare it to love you have for your parents and vice versa. These are the first examples we have of love right? Why do we hold romantic love to different standards?

Let me expand on this, if you don't hold your lover in the same regards as your parents (as in you'd go the same lengths, put in the same amount of effort) then you don't love them just like them. Most people who do experience genuine love will not do so untill they're atleast in their mid to late 20s so if your 18 expecting some immature hormone fueled idiot to love you, you're dumb. Please stop with the teen love pill bullshit, it's more like teen whore pill

 TLDR:
Love is complicated, most of you are crying over nothing
