I prefer nonfiction mainly, which is kind of a broad category but still.

Man's Search for Meaning. Overall not the most exciting read (it was fine) but the parts that hit me hit me hard. I thought the parts about his wife were nice. What’s ur favorite book

Personally, when it isn’t mandatory school stuff, I like to read thrillers/psychological books and philosophical essays (For example some of my fav books are Fight Club, American psycho, La part de l’autre, 99 Francs,The Stranger, 1984) For philosophical essays, my favourite is one that came in physical copy with an album I bought on vinyl, it’s semi-historic semi-fictional. I liked reading fantasy novels as a jit.I prefer nonfiction mainly, which is kind of a broad category but still.
I can't do novella or novel length despite my best efforts. In most cases it's just too detailed about aspects I don't care about or I feel like it derails a lot. I do a bit better with series just because they're a bit more structured. But do you have a favorite book?fiction, preferably novella length.

As a kid I used to read a lot of young adult fantasy. I liked dystopian books a lot more though.
