Their perception of a "high value" guy is very subjective. Meaning even if the guy is ideally perfect in every aspects, women will not consider him as a high value partner and will nuke the relationship and date elsewhere, a bum for example.

Or, in rare cases, some women can be so much insecure that they will unconsciously sabotage the relationship
 
brainwashed into believing they deserve anything more than they are worth by egomaniacs on social media
