idk like i’m not arab but persian, i have very fair skin but i don’t consider myself white, but if you’re referring to complexion then im as white as a lot of white people. not quite as pale as some brits and irish ppl i see but yeah.

there are arabs with blue eyes and blonde hair that look basically white (thats the minority though) and i just dont think theyd be considered brown and most arabs have a skintone similar to a mediterranean white person but facial features features and hair color similar to a brown person

Idk for me i get mistaken for being spanish and im syrian (im like 15%-20% latino prolly) but us syrians are pretty diverse (most of the levant are the same)

Gulf countries are different tho

also by the US census MENA people have to pick white on official documents if you look into the history of it its bc
1. during segregation MENA people white washed themselves so theyd get access to the superior white ammenities
2. the guy who made the categories was racist & said ancient egyptians must be white bc nobody execpt whites were smart enough to do what they did

I feel like white is generally just referring to European features, most Turks are *technically* Asian but are going to look mediterranean for example and I think this also applies to some arabs maybe!
