Experience What do you guys think of keeping pet snails?

They're so slimy, ugh.

Title. Went going around my back yard two days ago and found 2 injured ones that I'm nursing back to health. Interesting stuff they do tbh.
My mom (rip) was raising snails when i was very young. She used to put them in a large box with vegetables and rocks with a lot of moisture, with not too much light, and with a very fine fish net at the top of the box so they don't escape.
I remember she was feeding them with milk powder. @Quncho

She definitely took better care than I can. I'm still learning the basics.
