As the title suggests, what do you all consider to be true “ascension” for women? It’s pretty cut and dry for men, lose your virginity and get a gf.

But for most women on here (unless you’re a true femcel) it’s a bit more complicated. There’s being stuck in endless “situationships” that lead to nowhere, being used for your body, being “kept a secret”, or your only options for relationships being causal sex, hookups or fwbs. So in my *opinion*, ascension for women would be ultimately marriage. Since ltr doesn’t mean shit in terms of actual commitment, you just get dropped after some odd years then boom you’ve hit the wall at 30 and your chances of getting married and having kids are reduced drastically, i.e. you’re cooked.

To your point getting in an ltr is pretty easy if you’re decently good looking and likeable, but you only have so many years as a woman that you’re able to have kids. And marriage should be the prerequisite to having children and raising a family. I seen countless examples of women being in a 5+ year long ltr, no marriage proposal, then bf breaks up with her and marries new girl in less then a year. If that situation happens enough times by the time you hit your 30’s you’re essentially cooked. Your egg quality goes down with each year, you’re a decade away from perimenopause, men w/o kids or prior marriages generally don’t want to marry women over 30.

Basically you can be in a bunch of relationships but if none of them lead to marriage it’s kinda pointless. And you only have a slim time frame to actually secure a marriage and have kids in a timely manner. Basically, most women will have sex at some point but only the lucky few will actually married and have healthy babies. So to me I view as the “peak” that most women will strive for, similar to how y’all want to ascend by losing ur virginity and getting a gf.
