what does chlorine do to the skin?

i know it damages hair or something but what does it do to the skin? im going swimming tomorrow and the pool uses chlorine a lot so any risks i could know of?

I always thought it lowkey clears the skin, shouldnt be a problem for acne if thats what youre referring to

Yeah I just went swimming and my skin has never looked this good before
