Why do people rep with gold instead of thumbs up? Whats the difference?
Also why do some users like @Dandelions and @Spongebob CirclePants always spam gold reps on peoples posts?
I know why they give rep but why do they give gold rep? When they like a post does their like button give a gold reaction instead of a green thumbs up reaction?

I think I found out what gold repping does , before you repped me my reputation was 452 and now its 456
so I guess it gives +4 rep

It’s because I have OCD and I get uncomfortable when I don’t rep every message in a thread. I choose gold instead of normal reactions as it gives +3 reps
