First off, there's is almost no definitive way to say someone is 100% natty today, so instead, we must trace back to before any testosterone, or steroids ever existed.



TLDR: the only real nattys were the bronze age bodybuilders

FFMI (fat-free mass index) - a metric that measures your muscle mass relative to your height and body fat percentage

for those who dont like to read, 25 FFMI is considered the upper natural limit, with genetic anomalies reaching as high as 27. It's safe to say you probably won't reach this mark without steroids

To put it into visual perspective, zyzz had an estimated ffmi of around 24.

Visually there's obvious cues to some roiding. The basic idea is that you can have a max of 2 out of the 3 of these things: size, vascularity, and leanness. Without use of roids this will be pretty hard to attain, but not completley put of the question

ACKNOWLEDGE YOUR LIMITS

We all know genetics are important, otherwise you wouldn't be on here. It's important to note that you will be limited by your genetics. For example if we got back a bit, look at zyzz. Does he look great? Yes, of course, but is he some Ronnie Coleman look a like? No. Your size is still genetically limited even on roids. In fact there are some ped users who look natty and will never look like they "should"



Here I wanna get into something often overlooked, the role ethnicity plays in bodybuilding.



To tldr each race has different strong suits. I'll make a little ranking for what I'd say to be the best and worst bodybuilding genetics.

1.blacks
2.whites
3.latins
4.east Asians
5. South Asians

Not including people like the samoans (who have very good genetics btw) and north Americans.

RISKS

Before getting into this, yes you can manage the risks of steroid usage, however, you'll never be able to run from it all, and it takes incredible amounts of research and dedication.

This isnt entirely related, I just saw a similar thread about gymcelling as a poorcel and it reminded me of one man: Alexander Zass


Basically he created his own weights basing his exercises off of books he read. He used stones and sticks to made weights, combing this with progressive overload and a healthy whole diet.

Eventually, he begun to use seals from trains to melt them down and forge dumbells, 2 of different weights.

Even when this man went to a gulag, he never stopped working out. He used his shackles and the bars of his cells to train. Thos eventually saved his life, as he managed to escape by breaking his chains and bars (which he has been losenig previously)

Honestly watch the video his story is crazy.

I hopped on like 4 months in to lifting and have accepted that I probably won’t look like i use roids for at least a few years. Has been worth it for me tho making what feels like 3-4 months progress in the gym every month

At the end of the day most natties will never look good enough because it takes time and dedication also needs good genetics

If you're goal is too have insane physique just hop on
