Speaking of flowers, some people can be like this plant:

Beautiful, charming, luring.

But once you get a whiff of it, you start to understand what you're getting yourself into.

That plant is called poppy, where opium is extracted from. Opium is the building block of drugs like heroin, codeine, and morphine.

Isn't it poetic in a dark way how such an attractive plant can be the root of so many conflicts and destruction around the world?

And I'm not against these substances, by the way. It's just something to think about.
