Discussion What got you into looksmaxxing

was ugly, people told me that but i didnt really care for their opinions. just wanted to look at myself in the mirror and feel good, walk around school being confident. also imaginary scenarios of me rejecting baddies 😂
 
I always wanted abs as a kid, eventually in quarantine that evolved into wanting to glow up. In 2022 I had a pretty big ego death after a streak of narcissism, that’s about when I actually got into looksmaxxing as a whole, rather than just the surface level stuff like before (rudimentary understanding of skin care and incorrect mewing)
 
well i discovered looksmaxxing back in March last year , been lurking this forum for a while til i made an acc
