What hair should I get or should I keep it the same

My current opinion is that my braids bring too much attention to my nose which I’m not sure what other hairstyle I could get. Additionally the girl i like said she likes shorter hair.

I included what my hair looks like taken out I can get many styles.

Id say that the fro is definitely not for you. The braids don't look bad in the second bad in the second photo. Do you have a photo where you have short hair?
