I've heard that the inverted filter is the most accurate, I've heard that the face zoom filter is, I've heard that no phone camera is because of lens distortion. Is a mirror really just the best way to gauge my own looks, or is there a better alternative

mirror is one of the best since there is like no factors shaping it (but cameras can have lens width, lens distortion etc). its exactly you in the mirror except ur image is just reversed. if u look good, u still look good irl, if u look bad, u still look bad irl. its that simple. tho most iphone cameras nowadays have a pretty accurate image so dont use that as a cope if u look bad in photos.
