Castor oil, rice bran oil, mustard oil and essential oils like peppermint, black pepper etc needs to be diluted in Propylene Glycol or Ethanol to make it less permeable for the firsg layers of skin.

Quickest way to get thicker eyebrows is using Minoxidil daily and Microneedling & Retinol on brows once or twice a week

Microneedling to create blood flow/growth factors into the brows areas and retinol to convert minox into minoxidil sulfate, a more efficient, more absorbed type of minox

can i just add my ordinary retinoid 5% on top of the minoxidil ?

Ideally you apply retinol, wait an hour, then aplly minox, wait that it dries and then apply moisturizing sunscreen (As the alcohol content in minox and retinol, will increases skin sensitivity to daylight overtime)

Ah if you can, Retinal (not retinol) is a more efficient type of retinoids

I have this too but it can itch and irritate the skin a little
Retinal is more potent than retinol so it shouldn't be for beginners.
Also the ordinary retinal one has alcohol derivatives and can stings a bit, probably for absorption.

In that case you apply a thick baume minutes after, like Bioderma Atoderm Intensive kind of thick baume
