I think it’s cause most Christian parents arent as strict with their children following it as other religions
It’s not even about being strict. Showing more love keeps people together

I’m not religious maynnnn

Im surprised only 2 people voted Christianity and everyone else is non religious

If you believe in god but not a religion you can choose agnostic
If u dont believe in god theres atheism
Agnostic also means u don’t know if god is real or not, I believe in god

You can choose agnostic if you believe in god but dont follow any religion
I am all too familiar with the teachings of Jesus , and I’ve read the bible cover to cover. And despite all that I cannot logically comprehend how an “all loving” god would decide to plague babies and young children with leukemia. It wasn’t the world who created the leukemia, or the “evil” in this context, like the bible teaches, it was god.

Cause God isn't all loving tbh, if he was I'd be Stacy

Can you fucking foids care about anyone but your fucking self
Haha in all seriousness though, at last as Orthodox, we believe that the separation from God is that caused the disease and death. Now, why did this happen? Well Fr. Seraphim Rose says that we were actually supposed to obtain the fruit of knowledge of good and evil when we were mature to do so, that Adam and Eve were supposed to know, but they consumed of the knowledge early, which caused harm. And the old testamate is very uh- symbolic. So I like to think of the fruit as the agricultural revolution, which is where the fall of humanity happened and when we strayed to manipulate earth and other beings, and that this use of earth and humans was supposed to happen, however we came onto it early, and so now we deal with the consequences of humanities own selfishness.
