Hi,

I'm planning to go turkey sometime this year to see an opthalmologist since my biggest concern is my eye area. I was recommended ptosis repair on my left upper eye lid and canthoplasty. What else would you recommend?

Ptosis repair and canthoplasty appear to be compatible. Additionally, you may want to ask them to assess the condition of the lower eyelid or mid face area as a whole, if necessary to preserve the volume of soft tissue around the eyes

Would you recommend a jaw filler and rhinoplasty? It's what I'm thinking about getting.

Your lower facial contour and jawline are quite prominent there's no need
If you don't have breathing problems or a hump on your nose when viewed from the side profile, there's no need for this

Any recommendations for improvements on the side profile?

Always had problems breathing through my nose, thats why I'm considering rhinoplasty.
Of course if your breathing problems are affecting your daily life, sleep, or ability to exercise, this surgery is not a luxury, but an investment in your health you absolutely must do this

The chin filler you mentioned earlier can be very effective in this profile. Just a few millimeters of projection of the chin makes the nose appear smaller and also sharpens the jawline. This is called profiloplasty in cosmetic surgery

Instead of completely cutting and reshaping the upper and lower jaw for a slight profile improvement, the same aesthetic result can be achieved much more safely and quickly with just genioplasty or chin filler

Aren't fillers prone to infection? I've seen some faces become completely deformed because of this

Having the time and money to dedicate to a procedure doesn't necessarily mean it has to be done. For me, the luxury isn't having the most complex surgery, but achieving the most natural and healthy result with the least intervention

Cant argue with that tbh

The reason for those deformed faces you see is usually due to incorrect application and the use of low quality materials, rather than the filler itself
If you ever consider getting fillers, the most important rule is doctor's experience and the use of absorbable fillers. When done correctly, it's not even noticeable from the outside however, if done incorrectly, the results can be disappointing
