yeah i would do something that fufills ur hormones the best
like this forum is good at getting hormones from socialization and games/music r good for dopamine
i would think of it under that lens first bc these r survival things u need to be mentally sane
and like eating healthy and balanced too
also if ur parents thinking ur successful gives enough of a boost as rotting then i would def try to appease them
but if it doesnt then i wouldnt even really give a shit abt what they say but this just me personally
