What to know about hair growth?

I need longer hair tbh
Do not cut your hair at all and cut it once every two years, regardless if you need a trim or not. If you feel like your ends are dead cut the ends only and let the rest grow. Make sure you eat a good amount of all your nutrients and minerals consistently too, and also rub oils in ur scalp like Amla oil. Also you could wear ur hair straight to give the illusion that its longer than it already is. But its very genetics-based so dont expect a huuuuge diff

The main thing that makes hair “grow slowly” is breakage. Avoid adding excessive heat to your hair. Along with that, stay away from high tension hair styles since they cause breakage. It’s also important to build a routine catered to your hair. Make choices based on texture, porosity, density, and thickness. Once you find a routine that works you should stick to it. Try not to switch products, but it’s okay to experiment occasionally.

you should cut your ends every 4-6 months, else you will get spilt ends since the ends are the oldest part of your hair if u dont cut them they travel up and that causes you not to retain any length, avoid heat and bleaching hair tbh if u just use rosemary oil every couple days and massage it in it helps promote hair growth, however most of how fast hair grows is genetic
