If his gyno is caused by fat, which is called pseudogynecomastia, then sure. But the doctor clearly said it's gyno, so it's an increase in breast tissue, not fat.

You should avoid systemically nuking your E2 to fix gyno.
I recommend looking into topical raloxifene or Nolvadex. The orals work too, but they come with their own issues so just stick to the topical.
