If the price of peek is an issue then save up for it because for orbitals specifically

silicone is ass so not a valid option

titanium is too strong as a material and it'll make you an ogre basically

That leaves Porous Polyethylene (Medpor) and PEEK (Polyetheretherketone) as the only valid options

For PEEK the downsides are

Expensive
Requires advanced surgical planning

As for Medpor

Harder to remove once tissue integrates
