That‘s a good question. I mean who would stop you from selling your soul if it meant being loved for who you really are? Probably would have to be someone who really hates you. Despises you and wants you to suffer no good reason.

What if you were told exactly how to mog, given connections to people who will help you out, guranteed you will reach the desired level of mogging be able to know how to mog more than anyone ever has? You would just need to do it. Then you could act humbly about it and be admired for your effort. I mean sure it would be nice to just mog but getting there and seeing yourself mog more and more and grow to the highest echelons of mogging would give you a new kick every time you ascend more.
