I'm apart a lot of communities, and a lot of them overlap. The only one I could think of that doesn't overlap into prepping would be Pokemon TCG. You're kind of expected to understand the market (which cards are high selling, which cards are dropping), keep up to date with the new sets that are released even if they're from other countries, which apps to use for gauging pricing, which grading companies are deemed worthy of your time, you join a bunch of Facebook groups and you browse Reddit communities and you join Discord servers, and so on. They're not really reading materials (like books or materials) as much as they are just things that people assume you may already know.

So the list would look something like this:
> /r/PokemonTCG, Facebook local groups, Discord servers, PSA Grading, TAG Grading, CGC Grading (controversial), eBay's search function, TCGPlayer, Coop (Pokemon TCG YouTuber), PocketMonster (Another YouTuber), TCG Pocket game, Charizard cards, etc.
