technically mixed but everyone ive ever asked irl has said something along the lines of “oh i thought you were italian” or “you look REALLY italian!” ive even asked genuine fucking italians FROM ITALY and they ALSO say i just look italian. i do not have a single drop of pizza blood in my veins.

if you are australian then you should be like a mix of english, scandinavian, irish scottish etc. these are ethnicities, while 'australian' is citizenship

That's fair. My country is so diverse that we've developed our own racial and ethnic classifications, which are quite different from those used in places like the US. That's why I answered the way I did. To be honest, I'm not really sure how the rest of the world approaches these concepts
 
race, nationality, ethnicity blah blah same thing
race=genetic cluster and phenotype
nationality=citizenship to a certain country
ethnicity=just a bunch of people who are tied through history, genetics, language, culture and geography (although the former one isn't necessary)
