Yeah, I like those. What got me hooked on anime though was Tokyo Ghoul. I was expecting a horror thingy but got hit in the feels with drama. Didn’t see it coming, but that made me really enjoy it a lot more.

I’ve never read the manga, I only watched the anime. But I watched the live-action first, so I already knew what was gonna happen. Kind of reminds me of AoT. The manga had some more tragic scenes depicted, like in the Keith Shadis background episode.

Like in September this year. I remember one of my friends would always try to get me to watch this, like way back in 2014 or something and I was like nah… I’m not into anime. That was back then. Now I’m glad I waited for so long to watch it because I could binge watch it haha.

It’s still good to watch it anyway. I had the ending spoiled for me as well back in 2023. My female classmate (cute girl ngl, didn’t think she watch that stuff) said she cried when the last episode came out and described what happened. I swear if you saw her irl you’d never think she watched anime. She looked like your typical hot girl.

I like how it’s a slow burn romance with a bunch of mystery’s and twists in it. It reminds me of aot in a way how there’s no plot holes and everything that happens can be tied back to the first season
