When I grow a beard it looks like when Chico does

Most people get the beard curve part wrong. Follow your beard line and gradually trim the hair facing the front. Trim the front side near your moustache. This will produce a natural curve in your beard.


Cheek hair too high set at the sides, but too low-set at the front with no curve. Bad transition from front to sides:

It is natural for men to have higher gonial angles, but wider, taller chins than women, so your beard should naturally reflect this. A low-set beard is unnatural and feminine. But a high-set one makes it look scruffy and unnatural. Extra tip: Shave the hair around your chin.
