I personally think the line is blurry. You can take pride in yourself but it's very hard to simultaneously avoid seeing yourself as superior to others

I think looks are one thing, same with strengths and physical abilities, but when you start wearing 10k$ outfits just to mog, or get limb lengthening when you’re 6’2 it’s like hmmmm

To a degree, if you deserve high self esteem, you are superior to others. Just don't act like you are and you're golden.

high self esteem is self sustainable

arrogance must be fueled by leaching the confidence of others

high self esteem is more of a state of mind, arrogance is displayed through actions

it feels more like low self esteem, no?

people can pick up on how you feel about yourself and others though. so whatever your feel inside is tied to how you act outside, even if you try to hide it

arrogance isn't always about putting others down though. one can see themself as superior to those around them without actually telling them they are inferior

Yes It definitely could be but I think like if you are genuinely blessed with traits like being 6’2 usually you’re not really insecure maybe

superiority doesnt equate to arrogance.

okay so there's seems to be three categories we can divide high self esteem/arrogance into:
1. overtly arrogant, putting others down and trying to express that you are superior. this is the worst form of arrogance
2. believe you are inwardly superior but avoid showing it directly, but this internal mental state can still bleed through and show to others
3. true high self esteem without arrogance, but achieving this may be very difficult
