It looks better because it gives him a more masculine approach. The main reason why it doesn't look good in that picture is because it is not grown out properly.

I personally disagree bc even if it were to grow out it would look like a mullet

This is why I said that the sides and back would be chopped off while the top would still be a little bit shorter but enough hair to cover the forehead
