that sounds like a terrible idea do try that with the fish flopping around everywhere while you're trying to aim also you're going to have to hold it outside the boat and be mindful of where you're aiming, also a waste of meat and you could shoot the fish off the hook

Unless you're shooting competition get the standard one. Long slide/ barrel isn't practical for concealment or closed quarters drawing. For a concealed semi automatic pistol you don't want to have more than a 4.5" barrel.
