I might honestly just do this but I hate people, I only take a liking to a few people and I do not think like others. If I live with a dude I would have the urge to terminate him 24/7 for being in my living space, if I live with a woman that would be sus, if I lived with a queer person then that would be even more sus.

i lived with a roommate over the summer at this sleepaway music camp and i got so lucky that it was a girl that was acc hygienic and that i was friendly w cuz in literally every room other than ours it looked like a landfill

It is a woman, I’ve seen men do it together too though. I always thought I’d HATE it too but it can be better if you befriend them slightly and they’re chill enough. You don’t have to be besties or even that similar just civil and friendly. I mean it’s still not ideal but if it’s necessary then you just gotta get used to it. You don’t really have privacy unless they go out and I can’t do everything I used to but also I would see how she wouldn’t give a fuck (being on call at midnight in front of me) so you might as well start not giving a fuck either

For my first year of college, I roomed in a suite with 3 other people. The guy I shared a room with was incompatible because he needed to blinds open 24/7 and wanted to run the dehumidifier all the time because he had dust mite allergies. And then his best friend in the other suite would come over and yap all the time in the night. But beyond that, I never really spoke a word to them.

For my second year of college, I lived in an apartment with 5 other people. We had 3 bathrooms to share between, and I ended up beefing with some guy who kept using my bathroom because I am a major germaphobe and didn't want to share a bathroom with some random guy. We eventually settled it though.
