You're comparing stock android to stock iOS, android has 100X the potential, custom ROMs are still android, androids based off Linux, Apples code is proprietary, you can degoogle android, you can't deapple iOS, apple cloud is shit, safari is shit, you can't add extensions to Firefox on iOS, you can use only f-droid to install Open source software, you have free PGP on android, not even a contest if you spend the time to configure android settings, even if you try going into iOS settings it'll be worse
