Imo you should try both even if it ends-up as short-term relationships, at least you'll build experience. Both age gaps can be really supportive as a girlfriend if they like you enough.

At our age we have girls of any age interested in us. I've had 30yo women flirting with me and 19yo make it clear that they would let me crack (and i was 26yo at the time lmao)
Now you have to found out which one will be a supportive girlfriend while you try to build your future.

Ideally you should settle for a girl who have a bit of financial independency because you wouldn't like being a betabuxxer and spend the few bucks you have in your account in order to keep the relationship.
You'll have to make it clear during the dates and not pretend you have money etc

You'll have to be convicing during dates with your ambitions and what you're doing right now, so women can see the potential and project themselves in the future
