Well i think the difference between an incel and someone who simply cant pull is that incels associate themselves with a community of people who also cant pull, and often blame everyone but themselves for it. That community happens to harbour a lot of cases of people who have committed shootings or other crimes against humanity. Like a weird amount. Thats not to say thay all incels are mean spirited, harmful, or bad people, infact id say the majority arent, but that happens to be the association people outside of the communities have with them

theyre seen as weird because the extreme ones like Elliot Rodger for example committed horrible crimes and said a lot of horrible things
nowadays the meaning of incel has basically changed to someone who hates women since a considerable amount of incels who are frustrated with the dating world and hypergamy blame women, and now TikTok normies justt bully them
most incels nowadays are probably not that extreme
and just because incels cant pull some do give up hope and become misogynistic

it's what they see of the community. communities that define themselves as incel typically speak of women in really disgusting ways, and the bits of those that normies get exposed to via exposé videos on tiktok are even more horrifying .
